Huawei Honor View 20
The Honor has been teasing it’s “Huawei Honor View 20” for a quite some time and said that it will be the world’s first smartphone to feature a 48MP sensor at the back accompanied with two other sensors. It is expected to sport a 6.4-inch full view display that will have a punch hole cut out at the front for a 25MP camera. The smartphone is expected to be powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 980 octa-core processor. The other features that would probably come in this smartphone are TOF 3D camera, 4000mAH battery with fast charging support.
Honor View 20 is claimed to be the world’s first in-screen front camera design, reportedly achieved by a complex 18-layer technology stack that carefully embeds the front camera in the display area of the screen and extends the display area to almost 100 per cent. Powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 980 chipset, the device features a 48 megapixel primary camera, which uses a Sony IMX586 sensor. Honor View 20 will be available in three colours and two configuration options.
The front face of the Huawei Honor View 20 takes us closer to the ideal design of an all-screen phone. There’s a tiny chin down below, comparable to that of the OnePlus 6T or Honor Magic 2, and the headphone grille lives in a small cutout between the top bezel and the panel glass. Meanwhile, the ambient light sensor has been relocated up onto the top part of the outer metal frame to keep the front face as clear as possible.
A 6.4-inch display diagonal has never felt to so easy to use in one hand, and that’s helped along by curved side walls around the back, and a svelte brushed aluminum frame. An enormous new 48-megapixel camera and new depth sensor promises better, sharper photos.
The Huawei Honor View 20 comes in three colors — black, blue and red — all of which feature a unique laser-etched reflective “V” pattern behind the glass, indicative of the phone’s branding (in China, it’s simply known as the Honor V20). This is a gorgeous and eye-catching way to add some flair what might otherwise be a ho-hum glass chassis.
